Juniors sessions

Our juniors sessions are designed to give young people an opportunity to play table tennis and develop their skills in a safe and inclusive environment.

Sessions are primarily designed for young people aged 11 to 18. Motivated younger participants are welcome after a conversation with the coach.

Sessions are led by our professional coach Morgan Griffiths. Morgan is studying Sport Coaching at Cardiff Met University and is working towards a table tennis coaching qualification. He is DBS checked.

The club can supply all the equipment required, including lending bats. Participants are expected to wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

Sessions take place throughout the school year (outside school holidays), every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, from 16:15 until 17:15. They take place at St Cyres school but are open to all young people, regardless of school affiliation.

Registration is required before attending. Please complete this form. If you have any questions before joining, please see the “contact us” page.

Registration incurs a one-off fee of £35 for the whole term (around £6 per session). Young people eligible for free school meals can register for free. The club operates a financial hardship policy and may be able to support participants who are not eligible for free school meals but for whom the fee nevertheless represents an obstacle to their participation.
